division 68 - Aside from the fact that Joaquín was born in Mexico and married (his wife María died in Paris in 1889) little else is known of his life.

What is evident, however, is that his tomb has an incredible series of four life-size sculptures grouped at each of the four corners of a massive, ship-like superstructure placed over his subterranean tomb.
