Another variation on la Douleur: a young woman in flowing robe wearing a helmet leaning on and looking out over a cross above Maurice’s grave. If you go around behind the statue you’ll see she’s also leaning on a short sword pointing downward into the grave. An interesting touch is she has crossed her bare feet as if relaxed.
