The bust of Léon was featured at the Salon of 1889.

He’s buried with his mother Leonore Grosset for whom Léon also did the medallion: Á ma mére (1893).

division 20 - This is a complex relief (1820) packed with a number of interesting elements and symbols: in the center stands Charity looking at and reaching out with her right hand to two beggars while with her left hand she’s touching a seated woman breastfeeding an infant while another woman holding a child waits behind her; a child sleeps in a cradle next to the mother nursing. In the background on the right side two nuns give a man in bed a drink.
